Caroline Narkle was born in Narrogin in 1957. She spent her childhood in Wandering Mission but was later reunited with her family in her early teens. Since then she has lived in Mount Barker. Caroline's mother, Bella Kelly, is a well-known landscape artist and has been an influence on her work. As well, her brothers enjoy art and have also influenced their sister. Caroline's work is a mixture of contemporary and traditional images. Animals and landscapes are her favourite themes. |
